“Diary of a Knight”, a video from #myRavenna Be Inspired

Thirty-three videos are competing in the #myRavenna. Be inspired videomaker contest, inspired by the charm of Ravenna.
The entries, developed around two thematic categories, recorded more than 24,000 views between November 30 and December 14.
The contest, funded through the regional project “Energie Diffuse”, dedicated to the European Year of Cultural Heritage, and supported by Axis 6 of the POR FESR programme, fostered a widespread wave of creativity among young videomakers.
“Alongside today’s awards ceremony,” said Tourism Councillor Giacomo Costantini, “we would like to thank the jury for their work. We are also very pleased to have had the opportunity to discover the talent of these young creators, whom we intend to involve in future initiatives.”

One of the categories focused on the evocative charm of the statue of Guidarello Guidarelli, housed at the MAR – Art Museum of the City of Ravenna.

Within this category, the video Diary of a Knight (00:39) offers a short visual narrative dedicated to the sculpture of Guidarello Guidarelli. The film was created for the #myRavenna.

Sono 33 i video in concorso al #myRavenna. Be inspired videomaker, ispirati al fascino della città di Ravenna.

I lavori, sviluppati attorno a due tematiche, hanno registrato oltre 24.000 visualizzazioni nel periodo compreso tra il 30 novembre e il 14 dicembre.
Il contest, finanziato dal progetto regionale “Energie Diffuse”, dedicato all’Anno Europeo del Patrimonio Culturale, e sostenuto dall’Asse 6 del POR FESR, ha dato impulso a una creatività diffusa tra giovani videomaker.
«Accanto alle premiazioni di oggi – ha dichiarato l’assessore al Turismo Giacomo Costantini – ringraziamo la giuria per il lavoro svolto. Siamo inoltre molto soddisfatti di aver avuto l’opportunità di conoscere il talento di questi giovani, che intendiamo coinvolgere in future iniziative».

Una delle categorie era dedicata al fascino della statua di Guidarello Guidarelli, conservata presso il MAR – Museo d’Arte della Città di Ravenna.
