Dolce color d’oriental zaffiro: si è scelto di mantenere come titolo del libro quello che avrebbe dovuto essere il titolo del Festival (che ne è anche il tema) in era pre-Covid 19. È illustrato dalle opere dell’artista ravennate Manuela Vallicelli, capaci di rappresentare una natura fuori dal tempo che, dai colori zaffiro del cielo e dagli orizzonti visivi, passa poco a poco a immagini inorganiche con atmosfere sempre più trasparenti.

Sweet color of oriental sapphire: the decision was taken to keep the same title for the book as in the pre-Covid 19 era should have been the Music Festival title (it also represents the main theme). It is illustrated by the works of the artist Manuela Vallicelli from Ravenna, Ravenna, capable of representing a timeless nature which, from the sapphire colors of the sky and the distant horizons, gradually passes to inorganic images with increasingly transparent atmospheres.

Il nostro festival da anni affianca arti visive e musica, teatro, e danza; anche in un anno così controverso vogliamo regalarvi queste immagini della pittrice ravennate Manuela Vallicelli che evocano una natura fuori dal tempo, dai colori zaffiro del cielo, immagini che si fanno a poco a poco inorganiche con atmosfere sempre più trasparenti, opere che illustrano il nostro catalogo 2020 (purtroppo solo una sintesi di un lavoro più ampio svolto per il programma ufficiale del festival che fu sospeso causa covid 19.

For years, our festival has brought together visual arts, music, theatre, and dance. Even in such a controversial year, we would like to share these images by the Ravenna-based painter Manuela Vallicelli, which evoke a timeless nature, from the sapphire colors of the sky to gradually more inorganic forms with increasingly transparent atmospheres. These works illustrate our 2020 catalogue (unfortunately only a selection of a broader project developed for the official festival programme, which was suspended due to Covid-19).
